The Association of Beaux Arts was founded in 1902 and recognised as a public utility in 1935. The following goals are taken from the ABAC's charter : 

1 Support the development needs of artists
2 Hold an annual exhibition of student work 

All the forms and all the colours - all the styles and  all the tastes regardless of your age or experience - its impossible not to find an activity to suit you.

 Climb the hill to the Suquet and meet at the ancient school of  La Castre where we have our house.From Monday thro Saturday you will find a relaxing environment and an activity to suit you.

Cannes and Art courses, Cannes and exhibitions,  both great ideas for summer holidays, vacations !


PAINTING 

 All the techniques : Drawing, Charcoal, Pastel, Oil , Acrylic 

CERAMICS

 Works in clay can be fired at the association. Three types of kilns one electric one gas ( for stoneware ) one Raku - Japanese style



ENGRAVING - ETCHING

 Engraving and etching, colour print monotypes, woodcut,  linoleum intaglio,
copper intaglio aquatint, carborandum There are two presses available


SCULPTURE

 Workshop Phidias is open every day for members who have paid their annual subscription fees. The atelier is equipped with a compressor. Techniques facilitated are : Wood, Marble and Clay
